Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Are you still open during the coronavirus pandemic?

A: Yes.  We are open Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.  Early or late pickups are available if arranged with us in advance.

Q: Are you out of ground beef?

A:  No, we make fresh ground beef (85/15 mixture) Monday through Friday.  We also make extra lean (93/7 mixture).

Q: Where can I see your prices and the products you offer?

A: If you want to get a general idea of the items we offer, you can check out our "product list" (no prices) on this website.  We have beef, pork, and chicken products.  We aren’t posting an order sheet with prices because we have a select menu available day by day. 

Q: How do I order?

A: You can walk in or order over the phone.  We are limiting the amount of customers in our lobby, so please don't bring in your entire family.  If other customers are already in the shop, please wait in your vehicle until they come out.  You can also call our shop to place your order (please refer to our “guidelines for ordering” below).   Due to our small shop size we are only able to produce so much product each day.  We literally strip beef from the bone to be able to provide the freshest ground beef around.  This is part of why our products are enjoyed by so many, but unfortunately it takes longer. That’s why we are only able to take limited orders each day.  If you aren’t able to place your order one day, please don’t panic, we produce daily and should be able to take your order the next day.

Q: I keep trying to order but your phone is always busy.

A: That’s because a lot of other people are also calling to place orders.  Please continue to try to get through, or call back another day.  


Guidelines for Ordering:

  • You may walk in and place your order with one of us at the shop, or give us a call to place your order (406-727-8983).

  • You will be given an order number and we will ask for your phone number.

  • When your order is ready to be picked up (in the afternoon), we will call you with a total amount.  At that time you can either pay with your credit/debit or EBT card over the phone, or you may pay with cash (please bring the exact amount if you are wanting curbside pickup).

  • If using curbside pickup, when you arrive at the shop to pick up your order, call us to let us know you are here.  If the phone is busy, please write your order number on a piece of paper and put it in your vehicle window where we can see it.

  • We will bring your order out to your vehicle.

  • Lastly, we realize this is quite the process.  Please understand we are doing everything possible to help keep our customers safe, and ourselves safe, so we can continue to feed families across central Montana. We’ll all get through this together.
